Library Information Center:

Introduction:

The library established with the establishment of college i. e. in the year 1993.At the time of establishment there were very few books in the library. But today our library have more than 14000 books as well as 41 national and state level journals, periodicals and magazines. Non book material also available in the library. Library receiving a special donation from “kendriya hindi nideshaliya,HRDA Ministry, New Delhi.

Invention of printing machine by Gutenberg in 1452 is one of the revolution of human knowledge development.After that all human Knowledge and information are easily available through print media in the form of books, Journals, liflets, pamphlets etc. Print media can not be able to run in fast in respect of time and cost. Place is also a vital problem to the library.At the same time IT, Computer , Telicommunication developed tremendusiy, Which directly affects the publishing industry. And now society are going to the paperless society. Rapid development of Internet, multimedia information sources now easily available. E-journals its called Virtual Journal, paperless journal ,on-line journal . If this task is done by electronic media than it may called e-journals. Electronic media produced published and distributed nationally internationally via electronic network such as BITNET, INTERNET, etc. In 1960 First e- journal was created on “Scientific Communication”.

Mission and Goal:

To increase reading habits among the students and teachers as well as stand the student in compitation era. Library is a growing organism so it increases day by day. We have so many books for competitive exams.We are bounded to serve better services.

Services:

Library provide open Access System for the staff and senior college students. By this facility every book have its reader. Today our library have above 500 members. They are taking the advantage of library collection. Librarian provide internet facility to the staff and students on special request. Librarian gives reference service to the readers and researchers. We are bounded to save the time of reader and to give better services.

Activities:

Our library conducting Book Day, Book Exhibition etc. in every three months. To improve the reading habit among the readers. We always take efforts for improving G.K.
