Department of Economics

Introduction:

Department of Economics was established in the year 1993 and the subject was taught to the undergraduate classes. At the beginning period, department executed by prof. Dr. P.B. Patil only faculty member. Thereafter Prof. B.J. Gaikawad joined as a second faculty member to the department from January 1999. Prof. Dr. P.B.Patil awarded Ph.D. degree from BAMU, Aurangabad in 2013 and he is head of the department, contributed to the growth of the department till date. He developed the department and augment the strength of students opting for Economics course.

Objectives:

1. To develop the economical and industrial conscious among the students
2. To empower the rural students to lead the Business, professional and private Life.
3. To empower the students to participate in the professional of the rural area.
4. To provide platform for students to build their career in economics related career  
5. To inculcate the Banking, Industrial and Budget values.
6. To analyze the Indian Economical and foreign Economical concepts and theories this will be applicable in our day-to-day Trade and Business concepts.
